ICC SUNDAY SERVICES
This Sunday in ICC, we resume regular adult and children services. Noah Mataruse is our guest speaker at the adult church. He will share a message entitled, “Talk Is Cheap”.
The text is taken from Matthew 21:28-46. A few days before being crucified, 5 days to be precise, Jesus was confronted by the leaders of the temple. They wanted to take Him out as they believed they were the ones with the mandate from God to lead his people.
Jesus told leaders, in very plain language, that they are leafy fig trees with no fruit, sons that say ‘yes’ but never lift a finger, terrible stewards of God’s heritage. We will learn to apply these parables to our lives so that we are counted among those who say ‘yes’ to God and DO what He says. We will learn that words are not enough and that actions matter. Invite all your friends and family to join us this Sunday by forwarding this mail to them as an invitation.
Noah works at the UN in Copenhagen, is from Zimbabwe, and is a faithful Home Group leader in ICC. Also a lay pastor/preacher, he is married to Precious, and they have 3 lovely kids. ICC has always been blessed by his deep understanding of God’s word, which he ardently practices and demonstrates through his lifestyle.
