This Sunday, 230325, ICC will hold regular adults’ and children’s services at Kingos from 13:00 to 14:30, Bragesgade 35, 2200 Kbh. In the adults’ service, Ravi will share a message entitled ” Spiritual Guerrilla Warfare.”
“Guerrilla warfare is a form of unconventional warfare in which small groups of irregular military, such as rebels, partisans, paramilitary personnel or armed civilians, including recruited children, use ambushes, sabotage, terrorism, raids, petty warfare or hit-and-run tactics in a rebellion, in a violent conflict, in a war or in a civil war to fight against regular military, police or rival insurgent forces”, according to Wikipedia.
Jesus spoke of another yet similar warfare in Matthew 13:24-30 concerning the Parable of the Weeds. Here, a farmer plants wheat, and an enemy sabotages him by secretly planting weeds among them. When the atrocity was reported to him by his servants, the farmer wisely decided to let them both grow, only to have the weeds removed and destroyed at harvest before gathering the wheat. Jesus Himself explains this parable in Matthew 13:36-43.
While God is working on redemption of a lost world, the enemy is busy trying to populate hell with a counter-message of disinformation/misinformation. This was evident in the Garden of Eden and persists to date. Jesus, however, promised that we will know the Truth, and Truth will set us free while the devil continues to use unconventional methods to distort God’s Redemption Covenant.
Without giving too much credit to the devil, who is a loser, we must be aware of his tactics of lies and expose them when and where possible. That is what we intend to do this Sunday as we shine the Light of the Gospel of Truth, which will keep us on the path of the Lamp and Light of God’s Word.
